Lindsay has given me far more than an education in music. The mere ability to recognize technique in the songs heard on the radio is just one example of how far her teachings transcend. Lindsay has instilled an even greater love of music into me. When I first started as her student, I was just 9 years old and I lacked any care in music. Years into our lessons, Lindsay has seen me through auditions to musical high schools (and seen me through acceptances to those very schools!) and beyond high school, has made music something that feels ingrained into my blood. Lindsay is phenomenal in her craft and is the greatest instructor I have ever had.
Lindsay is an exceptional vocalist and a very powerful mentor. Her willingness and passion to help her students improve and have fun is how she leads her pupils to greatness. Her guidance transcends just the voice and taught me what it truly means to be a musician. She has the capacity to teach all ages. With her knowledge she can give even the best of the best tips to become better. Lindsay possesses invaluable traits that make her such a wonderful teacher and vocal coach. The individualized attention and care she’s given to me in our lessons has given me the foundation to pursue a career in performing arts. It’s truly because of her that I was able to find a love for music and acting, get into one of the country’s most prestigious BFA Drama programs, and make my first Off-Broadway show at 19.
